Although all of the Nine experienced verbal and physicalharassment during their year at Central, Brown was first suspended, and henexpelled for retaliating against the daily torment.Brown Trickey has dedicated her adult life to peacemaking, environmentalissues, developing youth leadership, diversity education and training, andcross-cultural communication, and gender and social justice advocacy.
