I’ve been in continuous communication with our leadership at NEA in Washington DC, OEA in Columbus and NEOEA in Cleveland and they have great concern for the bulls eye to disassembly unionized labor in education K-12 and Higher Education and particular concern for The Great State of Ohio. To be more specific, Governor Kasich along with his peers intend to make our current collective bargaining something of the past (<a href="http://www.legislature.state.oh.us/bills.cfm?ID=129_SB_5">http://www.legislature.state.oh.us/bills.cfm?ID=129_SB_5</a>) therefore, placing our careers in jeopardy.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>We (as a people) have endured a lot to be prepared for this time right where we are and NOW is our time to PUSH towards the mark that is greater than us all to see justice prevail! I encourage you to become (actively) involved with our local unions, and/or regional and national unions for the sake of our present and future. I will be disseminating additional information (or you can contact me) as time progresses.
