Every Nation Ministries is sponsoring a Ten Days Mission Experience to Johannesburg, South Africa, and feel God is calling me to be on the team. I’ll travel with a team of over 100 people- 25 from my home church in Washington, DC called Grace Covenant Church- and will serve the people and children in Johannesburg, South Africa from March 28- April 6, 2012. This would be my first short- term missions trip.<br />The team and I will help build two different homes the local non-profit organization Baby/ Child Haven. Baby Haven serves the abandoned and orphaned babies new born to 10 years old of Johannesburg, many of them the healthy children of HIV+ parents, by providing a home, a loving environment. We will also conduct youth sports camps and community outreach activities. We want to meet the needs of the people of Johannesburg and see God transform lives.<br />The team is working together to raise money for the trip and needed building supplies. Each member of the team has been assigned to raise $2700. I’m asking my friend and family to help by sponsoring me for $300, $200, $100 or any amount you are willing to sponsor to make this missionary a success. The money can be given as a tax-deductible donation to Every Nation Ministries at (<a target="_blank" href="http://tendaysmissions.org/">tendaysmissions.org</a> or directly at <a target="_blank" href="https://admin.everynation.org/giving-tendays/">https://admin.everynation.org/giving-tendays/</a>) and select my name, so I can obtain my goal. All the funds will go directly to assist us in accomplishing our mission in Johannesburg. (If for some reason I am unable to go, your gift will help the rest of the team and Every Nation Ministers’ missions programs.)<br />I must raise $1500 by February 10, 2012 and the remaining by March 16, 2012.
