<p>All,</p><p>Please note that due to extenuating circumstances the Academic Senate Meeting that was scheduled for this Wednesday, Oct. 3. is canceled.</p><p>The next Academic Senate meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012.</p><p><font face="Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Chet also asked that I forward the following message with this email:</span></font></p><p><font face="Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Next month on Wednesday, Nov. 7th, we will begin discussion of the proposed changes to the Senate’s Charter and By-Laws. A copy of the current Charter and By-Laws, as well as a red-line copy of the proposed changes to these documents, can be found on the Senate web page (<a href="http://www.ysu.edu/acad-senate/"><font color="#660099">http://www.ysu.edu/acad-senate/</font></a>). Not included in this red-line copy is a proposed change to By-Law 7, Section 1 regarding re-arrangements to the General Education committee. The latter proposal, which can be found in the minutes from our September 5th meeting of last month, was tentatively approved by the Executive Committee pending final action by the body.<br /><br />Please do review the proposed changes prior to our meeting next month.
